Academy Award winner Lady Gaga will be seen in Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci, in which she stars as Patrizia Reggiani. According to the official synopsis, the drama “is inspired by the shocking true story of the family empire behind the Italian fashion house of Gucci. Spanning three decades of love, betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately murder, we see what a name means, what it’s worth, and how far a family will go for control.”
The official trailer and posters for the film have been released, and the superstar showcases a series of glamorous vintage ensembles and luxury jewels. The film covers the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, and costume designer Janty Yates has picked out pieces from Gucci archives, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, and more. Lady Gaga turns up her charm, and look sensational, wearing an array of statement styles including a white wedding dress, fur hat, and monogram Gucci prints.
Lady Gaga, as Reggiani, wears her hair in a big, teased brunette look, and also wears luxury jewelry from the likes of Tudor, for which Gaga is also an ambassador, Bulgari, Boucheron, and Gucci too. Also seen alongside Gaga in 'House of Gucci' will be Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Jack Huston, Salma Hayek, and Al Pacino. House of Gucci will be released in theaters in the US this Thanksgiving, November 24th, 2021. Patrizia Reggiani, formerly Gucci, is is an Italian socialite. In 1998, Reggiani was convicted in a highly publicized trial of hiring a hitman to kill her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci. She is dubbed by the Italian press as the "Black Widow".
