Madonna is a racy Marilyn for V Magazine Winter 2021

Pop icon Madonna continues to defy age, and stars on V Magazine’s #133, Winter 2021 Issue. Channeling Marilyn Monroe, the superstar is photographed by Steven Klein, and drips in sex appeal and drama. The photoshoot takes inspiration from Marilyn Monroe’s famous Bert Stern series The Last Sitting, and Madonna bares skin and curves, styled by B Akerlund, wearing next to nothing ensembles, jewelry, vintage stoles, and retro-inspired gloves.

Decked in dazzling gems of Bucherer Fine Jewellery, and pieces from Christian Louboutin, Neil Lane, and more, the 63 year old creates a scene. For one snap, Madonna bares her pert posterior, clad in just a pair of fishnet tights, while other pictures have her going busty. Kali Kennedy has worked on her makeup with a 1950s inspired hairstyle by Andy Lecompte. The Issue #133 from V Magazine will hit newsstands on November 1.

About her age, Madonna says, “I don’t even think about my age, to tell you the truth. I just keep going. Even when I performed almost my entire tour in agony, I had no cartilage left in my right hip, and everyone kept saying, ‘You gotta stop, you gotta stop.’ I said, ‘I will not stop. I will go until the wheels fall off.'”
