Kirin collaborates with Farfetch on capsule collection
Kirin partners with Farfetch for an exclusive capsule collection, fusing style and innovation for a distinctive fashion experience.
Streetwear label Kirin has exclusively collaborated with Farfetch on a capsule collection that is genderless, and is inspired by founder Peggy Gou’s Korean heritage. Gou's culture serves as the influence behind the collection, and personal experiences lay the foundation of the collection. Women in global history also have a particular focus in inspiration, which is evident through the vibrant and bold designs offered in the collection. Lots of modern silhouettes are featured in the collection, which will help the consumer to express themselves.
The collection is “one that celebrates our modern age of acceptance and freedom for all persons”, illustrated in Gou’s “unity, collaboration and relation” ideals, and the ideology comes to life with designs that include large carry-all bags, casual tees and denim pieces.
Available exclusively on the Farfetch website, the collection highlight's Gou’s focus on female empowerment through a ‘Dancing Women’ denim and knit set and a ‘Women Profile’ collection, that consists of trousers, tops, shorts and a robe. An additional line, ‘Sound Wave’, is also included, that refers to Gou’s career, visible in patterns inspired by sound vibrations, aiming at the designer's connection to music.
