French brand Chanel for its Beauty range brings a new limited-edition lipstick, called the Rouge Allure Velvet La Comète. Inspired by the stars, the latest lipstick comes in 8 shades, with the packaging featuring an irregular 5-pointed star that takes inspiration by Coco Chanel’s High Jewelry collection, produced in 1932. Chanel Beauty supermodel Vittoria Ceretti is seen in the campaign, daring and gorgeous wearing shade 178 Brun Céleste, which is a deep brown hue.
The model for the shoot reminds one of the screen stars of the early twentieth century, with dark and intense portraits. Lip colours of the collection range from elegant neutral shades to bolder scarlet red, and Velvet La Comète offers a matte application. The collection also launches Blush Comète in two shades, a light peach and vivacious coral. The powder’s surface is embossed with a comet design.
