Swedish supermodel Elsa Hosk collaborates with eyewear brand Christopher Cloos on an eyewear collection. Created specifically for women, the collection offers an impressive selection of eyewear designs, which take inspiration from vintage archives. The Victoria's Secret model also has been named an ambassador for the brand, along with NFL quarterback Tom Brady. The Cloos x Elsa line, features sunglasses and blue light spectacles, and speaks of Elsa's love of eyewear from the 1960s and 1970s.
Produced from biodegradable material, with unique trademark packaging. “Christopher Cloos” and “Elsa Hosk” are embossed on the inside of each frame, and the cleaning cloth also includes a quote from Elsa for the consumers. Stylish and trendy, the designs are offered in cat-eye and rectangular shapes, popular fom Old Hollywood, and Elsa turns up the charm as she fronts the campaign images, captured by Zoey Grossman. Retro cool and gorgeous, Elsa models a white pantsuit, cut-out swimsuit, knit sweater, and more designs for the eyewear campaign.
“I have always loved the 1960s and 1970s California vibe, the vintage 1950s Hollywood, 1960s music scene and the 1970s surf culture,” Elsa explains. “I have collected eyewear since I was 14, so I drew inspiration from my own vintage archive when designing the four styles for Christopher Cloos.” Elsa Hosk
The Cloos x Elsa Eyewear Collection is available in three Christopher Cloos signature colorways of Noire, Ristretto, and a new Dark Brown. The first version incorporates cat-eye frames. The Cloos x Elsa Blue Light line retails for $169 in same signature colors.
