Alexander McQueen Slash Bag Campaign featuring Kaia Gerber

British high-end fashion brand Alexander McQueen launches its Smash Bag, as a part of its Pre-Spring/Summer 2023 Collection. Showcased in a campaign starring Kaia Gerber captured by photographer Glen Luchford, the handbag is a chic and sophisticated new style, the campaign of which explores human emotion within a futuristic landscape, juxtaposing humanity and technology. The Slash bag features the iconic McQueen Knuckle hardware and skull motif, and is a luxury item, created from supple red lambskin leather and boasts a press stud closure, and its handle is designed with Swarovski-encrusted rings. The inspiration for the latest handbag design comes from knuckledusters and the gritty streets of London, and the design is enveloped in antique silver and gold metal, while its sharply cut and slashed body takes inspiration by the fashion house’s sliced and slashed tailoring, and is one of the most prominent bags to look out for in the upcoming season.
