Taylor Swift Wears Custom David Koma to the 2022 MTV EMAs

Taylor Swift was totally Bejeweled at the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Sunday night.

The 32-year-old, who just dropped her new album Midnights, hit the red carpet in a custom David Koma look. She paired a black spaghetti-strap bodysuit with a sheer midi skirt covered in a handmade net of silver and emerald-green crystals. According to the label, the green jewels were inspired by the late Queen Elizabeth II's famous emerald collection.

She finished the look with black open-toe heels and jewelry by Delfina Delettrez. Her blonde hair was swept up into an elegant updo with her signature bangs framing her face, and she went for her classic winged liner with a nude lip.

Later in the night, Taylor switched into a second David Koma look, a black and silver crystal-covered polo dress.

And she had a lot to celebrate. Taylor was up for six awards and went home with four, the most of any artist that night: Best Artist, Best Video, Best Pop and Best Longform Video for All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version).

It's a long way from Taylor Swift's retro 50s style back in 2012, but she's always known how to work a red carpet.
