Eileen Gu Dazzles for Harper's Bazaar Singapore December 2022

Olympic champion Eileen Gu is the golden and glamours cover star of the December 2022 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore. The 19 year old, who is working with Louis Vuitton on the runway as well as campaigns and events, is styled by Christopher Maul for the shoot, and wears Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany & Co, Givenchy and more luxury brands for the photospread. The Stanford student is gilded in gold in Louis Vuitton on the cover, and poses for the shoot, titled ‘Golden Girl’, effortlessly chic, photographed by London-based, Maltese photographer Stef Galea. Photographed at The Savoy in London, with an interview by Jeffrey Yan, Eileen looks sensational, with makeup and hair by Martina Lattanzi and Tommy Taylor respectively.

Forbes released its highest paid athletes of 2022 list last week, and three Asian women were in the top five: Naomi Osaka, Emma Raducanu and Eileen Gu, who stood in the third place after Naomi in the top spot and Serena Williams in second place. The talented star has also signed on with the US Olympic Committee to represent America in its bids for the 2030 or  2034.

For her interview, Eileen Gu does discuss the ‘under assault’ idea of meritocracy and hard work. She is a tremendously confident woman, though that does not mean she doesn't face self-doubt. An epitome of true-grit, and lots of backbone, Eileen also has a healthy relationship with social media, meaning that she does not pay heed to it.
