Kristen Stewart sizzles in the 'mixie' haircut

Known for edgy and raw fashion looks, Kristen Stewart is no stranger to  gracing the world with funky fashion trends. Attending the Berlinale International Film Festival on 16th February, the actress showed off a "mixie" haircut, which was created by celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel. As the name suggests, the haircut is a bold and fashionable combination of two popular hair styles, the mullet and the pixie. Kristen looked incredible as she showed off the look, with the back of her hair ending right below the nape of her neck, which is the same as the tail end of a mullet, while the top of her head remained shaggy and cropped, like a pixie cut. The combination of the two well-known styles is effortlessly cool, and gives off a rock-chic glamour that is the actress's signature style.

The mixie haircut first soared to popularity last year, through the "bixies" which is another famous hair cut trend. The bixie differs from a mixie as it combines the style with a bob instead of a mullet. However, the mixie is an eye-catch trend on its own, and is more popular than the bixie. The mixie has been sported by celebrities like Zoë Kravitz, Emma Corrin, and Zendaya, among others. The haircut gives off cool and edgy-chic vibes, and is perfectly suited for those who love the grunge aesthetic. The mixie is making rounds on social media and on runways too, and what's best is that the style looks incredible on nearly all  hair textures.
