Renowned footwear brand Dr. Martens is exchanging its signature punk-rock exterior for a more fun and playful aesthetic. The iconic British label is set to release a collaborative collection with BT21. The creative force of the K-pop group BTS and Line Friends, BT21’s beloved characters will add a bold and whimsical energy to the range in the form of decorative illustrations across most popular silhouettes. The collection comprises of the most beloved 1460 boot, the timeless 2976 Chelsea boot and the classic Box backpack, which is the perfect carryall. The designs feature colorful hand-drawn style images of KOYA, RJ, SHOOKY, MANG, TATA and COOKY, and add a vivacious zing and energy into the designs. The shoes are created with a special mix of classic black Smooth leather, along with a purple-tinted Arcadia version, which is a material that transforms into an even deeper purple hue, and gets better with every wear. The Dr. Martens x BT21 collection will be available from March 30th on the brand’s website with prices ranging from $140 USD to $190 USD.
