Jonathan Bailey, the acclaimed British actor who shot to fame with his role in the hit Netflix series "Bridgerton", has been announced as the new friend of the Omega brand. The actor recently appeared in a solo campaign, showcasing the Swiss luxury watchmaker's elegant timepieces, with a special emphasis on the silver Aqua Terra watch with a sandstone dial.

Bailey expressed his excitement about joining Omega, highlighting the brand's dedication to creativity, kindness, and brilliance. He further added, "I'm thrilled to be joining the Omega family. I admire their craftsmanship and the ethos that exists profoundly in their team and the way they work."

Omega's President and CEO, Raynald Aeschlimann, lauded Bailey's exceptional talent and strong work ethic. Aeschlimann noted that Bailey's qualities align with Omega's core values, making him the perfect addition to the brand's ambassadors.

Apart from his celebrated role in "Bridgerton", Bailey has won the Olivier Award for his performance in the West End production of "Company" in 2019. He has also appeared in other hit shows such as "Chewing Gum" and "Crashing" and played a pivotal role in the revival of "Cock" by Marianne Elliott at the Ambassadors Theatre.

Bailey's upcoming projects include starring in Ron Nyswaner's limited series "Fellow Travelers," based on Thomas Mallon's novel, and the highly anticipated film adaptation of "Wicked" alongside Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and Michelle Yeoh.
