French luxury fashion brand Chanel enlists a new ambassador for its iconic Chanel 22 bag, and it’s none other than Jennie Kim from BLACKPINK! The K-Pop sensation is the latest face of the coveted bag, and flaunts the accessory in a set of new campaign images and a film by the renowned fashion photographer duo Inez & Vinoodh in Seoul, Korea. No stranger to the glamorous world of Chanel, the star has previously posed for the brand’s Coco Crush Fine Jewelry ads as well as the Chanel Coco Neige Collection. Now starring in the Chanel 22 Handbag Campaign, Jennie adds another Chanel shoot to her impressive resume of fashion collaborations.
In one shot, Jennie looks chic, dressed in a playful polka-dot dress while highlighted the much sought-after bag. In another image, she is an eye-catching sight, dressed in a feather-embellished ensemble styled with fishnet stockings. Fashion forward and fabulous, Jennie shares the significance of the number 22 in her life. “My first solo came out when I was 22 and we started our new world tour with BLACKPINK in 2022. To me, 22 means a new beginning,” she states.
