Blake Lively was spotted on set in New Jersey on May 25 filming.

Blake Lively's recent on-set fashion choice while portraying Lily Bloom in the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestseller "It Ends With Us" has sparked criticism from fans, earning disapproval reminiscent of Gossip Girl's iconic judgment.

Lively, who plays the redheaded florist in the movie, was captured in Hoboken, New Jersey wearing an unconventional outfit consisting of two pairs of pants, prompting fans on TikTok to express their outrage.

Lively and her co-star Justin Baldoni were photographed on the set of ”It Ends With Us.”

The ensemble showcased Lively wearing patterned boxers pulled up above her belly button, paired with equally bold pantaloons. A TikTok account (@chaitealattesandchilton) shared photos of Lively as Lily, donning both pants, metallic pointy-toed boots, an oversized mustard pleather blazer, and a striped button-down.

Commenters on TikTok couldn't help but voice their dissatisfaction, with one stating, "Every photo that's released just keeps getting worse and worse." Another commenter mused, "This feels like a prank now."

Some fans questioned the authenticity of the costume design, asking, "Where in the books did it say Lily wore multiple pairs of pants?"

Reacting to the unusual fashion choice, a TikTok user exclaimed, "THE BOXERS ARE A HATE CRIME," while another questioned, "WHO IS THE FASHION STYLIST FOR THIS MOVIE?!?"

Peekaboo boxers seem to be a recurring theme for Lively’s character as she wore another pair underneath camo pants.

In another TikTok-shared shot from the film, the former "Gossip Girl" star is seen wearing camouflage pants, brown boots, and a white crop top, with another pair of colorful patterned boxers peeking out.

One critic wrote, "The way they managed to make Blake look hideous is crazy to me."

Lively's casting has faced controversy since its announcement, as fans had envisioned a younger natural redhead for the role. When the actress teased her role by debuting darker hair on Instagram in January, fans quickly expressed their disappointment. One tweet read, "Y'all should've casted a legit ginger."

TikTok users and social media alike have called for a younger redheaded actress to be cast, as the released production pictures have intensified the backlash. Suggestions have been made, including "Fate: The Winx Saga" Netflix star Abigail Cowen, 25, who gained popularity as a potential choice.

Only time will tell if the outraged fans will show their support when the movie ultimately hits theaters.
