Elle Fanning Shines Bright in a Glittering All-Black Ensemble at Chanel’s Cruise Show

Elle Fanning brought her A-game to the Chanel Cruise 2023-24 runway show held at Los Angeles' Paramount Studios, dazzling in a sparkling all-black suit look. As a Chanel ambassador and actor, she made the perfect entrance in a shimmering tweed blazer that featured a painterly white floral print. She paired this with super-high-waisted pants covered entirely in sequins and featuring a silky strap at the top. Underneath, she wore a dainty black and silver top with a single button and no bra.

Fanning's party look was completed with leather heeled boots, a mini quilted leather Chanel purse with a chain strap, and minimal makeup. She wore black winged liner and had her hair styled in a straight blowout.

Other Chanel ambassadors like Kristen Stewart, Marion Cotillard, and Margot Robbie graced the event to support the French fashion house. Also present were A-listers Sophia Richie, Paris Hilton, and Lil Nas X.

Elle Fanning also paid tribute to Chanel’s late creative director Karl Lagerfeld at the Met Gala this year, where she wore a romantic flower crown tied around her head with black ribbons and a cropped little black jacket over her angelic white lace gown by Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood. The look was reminiscent of the one she wore on her first photo shoot with Lagerfeld when she was only thirteen years old.

Elle took to Instagram to reminisce about her experience working with Karl for his project, Little Black Jacket, where she and other models wore the same black Chanel jacket. Karl let their styles and personalities inform how the jacket should be worn, and for Elle’s portrait, he decided to put a daisy crown on her head and the jacket over the white dress she had come in.
