Saint Laurent Launches Timeless Fine Jewelry Collection

Saint Laurent, the French luxury fashion house, has unveiled its first-ever fine jewelry collection, expanding its existing range of accessories and ready-to-wear lines. The new collection features cuffs, bangles, necklaces, and rings made from premium materials such as yellow and grey gold, and diamonds. The jewelry pieces are designed to be both long-lasting and timeless, with iconic motifs such as Cassandre and Maillon. Prices range from 690 euros for a studded earring to 45,000 euros for a chunky 18k chain bracelet.

The debut of Saint Laurent's haute jewelry collection comes at a time when the brand is performing exceptionally well, with strong sales growth in recent quarters. The luxury brand recorded a better-than-expected performance in the first quarter of 2023, with sales increasing by 9 percent, surpassing the anticipated growth of around 6 percent.

Saint Laurent's entry into the fine jewelry market follows a growing trend among luxury ready-to-wear brands, with names like Balmain, Gucci, and Prada also expanding into this space.
