Alice + Olivia is making a splash in the fashion world with the introduction of their swim collection, set to launch on Thursday. The collection will be available in their freestanding stores and online at aliceandolivia.com, offering a range of vibrant colors, chain detailing, and stylish silhouettes. Prices for the swimwear pieces will range from $90 to $225, catering to sizes XS to XL.

The six-piece reversible collection is designed to stand out. It includes a sleek black one-piece with a built-in belt and a plunging neckline, as well as a scoop-back one-piece featuring a tropical print on one side and a blue reverse. For those who prefer a two-piece style, there's a high-rise bottom and bandeau top combination in a tropical print with a blue reverse, as well as a reversible string bikini with a wrapped strap effect, available in bold shades of red, yellow, sky blue, and white.

Stacey Bendet, the founder, CEO, and creative director of Alice + Olivia, shared her inspiration behind the swimwear line. It was a concept suggested by her business partner, Andrew Rosen, who recognized the year-round demand for swimwear in Florida. Bendet aimed to create something unique in the market, focusing on comfort and fit. She specifically wanted to avoid the common issue of stitched elastic causing discomfort or creating a "muffin top" effect.

To achieve this, Bendet and her team developed a construction technique that eliminated the need for stitched elastic. The swimwear is reversible and constructed with seamless elastic, providing a comfortable and flattering fit. The clean finish and double-faced design offer a tubular feel that holds without squeezing the wearer. The collection utilizes high-quality Italian swimwear fabrics, ensuring both style and functionality.

The swim collection includes playful prints and vibrant solids, with one print featuring a blue-ground palm design on one side and a solid blue on the other. The black one-piece is not reversible. All the swimwear pieces are made in Portugal, highlighting Alice + Olivia's commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Looking ahead, Bendet has plans to expand the swimwear line, with new collections for resort and a larger offering for the next spring season.
