Model Vivienne Rohner and photographer Theo Wenner make a captivating stopover in the Hamptons for the CHANEL COCO BEACH 2023 collection campaign, adding their unique connection to this iconic location. Rohner, the face of the collection designed by Virginie Viard, shares her strong bond with the Hamptons, where she has been visiting Theo's mother every weekend for nearly five years. Surrounded by the sea, Rohner finds solace and equilibrium, making the coastal town a special place for her.

The COCO BEACH collection campaign serves as a continuation of the Spring-Summer 2023 pre-collection campaign, which captured Rohner's everyday life in New York. While the stories differ, the essence remains the same—a fantastical, cinematic portrayal of their lives, as Rohner describes.

With an aquatic and spontaneous feel, the campaign presents an intimate portrait reminiscent of a holiday photo album, with scenes captured on hammocks, pontoons, and the beach. It beautifully showcases the spirit of the COCO BEACH collection, featuring summery pieces in white, black, and pink, including terry towelling outfits, nineties-cut swimsuits, star motifs, tweed mini-dresses, and velvet jumpsuits. Additionally, it pays homage to the iconic imagery associated with the Hamptons.

Reflecting on the shoot, Rohner expresses how it reminded her of the initial fascination she had when first experiencing the Hamptons. The location matched her preconceived notions, aligning with the dreamy imagery often depicted in movies and documentaries about New York, the East Coast, and California. The Hamptons embodies the quintessential preppy lifestyle and the idyllic vision of a white house by the beach.
