Florence Pugh and Emily Blunt Redefine Tailored Looks with Plunging Neckline Sets

The power suit has long been celebrated, but at times, the traditional grays and blacks can feel predictable. However, at the Oppenheimer photo call in London, two style risk-takers, Emily Blunt and Florence Pugh, showcased their unique twists on the tailored look, while also championing plunging necklines.

Emily Blunt embraced a vibrant orange set, paired with nude open-toed heels. The standout feature of Blunt's ensemble was the metallic fabric, which added a reflective effect and unexpected allure to the otherwise classic silhouette. Meanwhile, Florence Pugh continued the tailored theme with her own distinctive touch.

Posing alongside Blunt, Pugh donned a blue Moschino shirtdress, featuring contrast white stitching and modern tailoring elements such as a traditional lapel, belted waist, and oversized cuffs. Pugh's look also boasted a deep neckline, extending almost to her waist, while Blunt's neckline remained at a more conventional height around the bodice. Pugh completed her outfit with white heels and silver jewelry.

These London looks followed the film's premiere in Paris. For that occasion, Blunt opted for another bold-colored ensemble, this time from Balmain's resort 2024 collection. The mint green shirtdress incorporated tailored elements in the top half, transitioning into ruched and gathered detailing in the skirt. Pugh, although absent from the Paris event, turned heads in a striking blue sheer dress at the Valentino couture show the previous week.

Both Blunt and Pugh are part of the star-studded cast of the upcoming film "Oppenheimer," set to release on July 21st. Blunt portrays the title character's wife, while Pugh takes on the role of his mistress. Interestingly, the film, directed by Christopher Nolan, coincides with the release of the movie "Barbie," resulting in an epic battle at the box office.

Florence Pugh, known for her comedic cooking content in her popular "Cooking With Flo" videos and her exceptional performances on the big screen, once again made waves at the Valentino fall/winter 2023 haute couture show in France. Pugh, the face of Valentino's Garavani Rockstud bag, stunned attendees by donning a completely sheer dress, showcasing her bold and reliable fashion choices.
