Margot Robbie Stuns in Schiaparelli Haute Couture Dress at 'Barbie' Premiere in LA

Actress Margot Robbie made a dazzling entrance at the global premiere of "Barbie" in Los Angeles. Playing the lead role, Robbie wore a breathtaking Schiaparelli Haute Couture dress inspired by the iconic Solo in the Spotlight Mattel doll from the 1960s.

The strapless dress was adorned with sequins and featured a striking flounce detail with a single red rose. To complete the look, she accessorized with elegant black opera gloves, a multi-tiered diamond necklace, diamond earrings, patent leather sandals, and a pink silk mousseline scarf.

Robbie further embraced the vintage aesthetic by adding a touch of classic red lipstick, side-swept bangs, and a ponytail with a demi curl.

Throughout the press tour for "Barbie," Robbie has been paying homage to the beloved doll with her outfit choices. During her visit to Seoul, she wore two custom Versace looks inspired by the 1984 "Day to Night" Barbie. In late June, she donned a black and white striped Hervé Léger dress, reminiscent of the original 1959 doll, for a photocall in Sydney.

"Barbie" takes viewers on a journey from Barbieland to the real world, featuring a star-studded cast including Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Emma Mackey, Dua Lipa, Hari Nef, Simu Liu, and Ncuti Gatwa. The film, set to release on July 21, also boasts an impressive soundtrack with contributions from artists like Charli XCX, Tame Impala, Ice Spice, Lizzo, and Haim.

The screenplay for "Barbie" was co-written by Margot Robbie and her longtime partner Noah Baumbach. Their collaboration dates back to the 2012 dramedy "Frances Ha."
