Niccolò Pasqualetti Spring Summer 2024 Fashion Show

Niccolò Pasqualetti, an emerging talent in the fashion industry who recently earned recognition with a Camera Moda Fashion Trust grant, unveiled his spring collection in a truly unique manner. He chose to present his work through three intimate fashion shows within a small L-shaped gallery, where every surface, from the walls to the floor, and even the stools, was draped in white Tyvek fabric.

This intimate, cocoon-like setting served to amplify the futuristic atmosphere of his spring collection, a captivating fusion of Space Age and medieval influences.

Some of the garments, resembling elegant tabards, inspired one model to spontaneously engage in an expressive dance, gracefully moving her arms to create billowing effects with the scalloped cotton panels. She sported quirky silver lensless glasses adorned with geometric charms, showcasing Pasqualetti's remarkable skill not only in fashion but also in jewelry design.

Throughout the collection, Pasqualetti exhibited a preference for dry and crisp fabrics, with a fascinating detour into vibrant metallic leather that exuded a distinct foil-like allure. In most instances, his harmonious blend of organic and contemporary elements resulted in visually stunning and cohesive pieces.

The substantial leather and drill outerwear, complete with multiple utility pockets, struck a fine balance between utilitarian hobbit attire and the fashion-forward sensibilities of a hipster.

Originating from Tuscany, Italy, the designer brings a wealth of experience in womenswear design, having honed his craft at prestigious fashion houses such as The Row, Loewe, and Alighieri. His eponymous brand is defined by a commitment to sustainability, artisanal craftsmanship, and gender-neutral design principles.
