Pop sensation Taylor Swift graced the 2023 MTV VMAs in Newark, N.J., with her presence tonight, where she garnered an impressive array of nominations, including Video of the Year, Best Editing, Album of the Year, Best Pop Video, and Artist of the Year, among others.
The "Anti Hero" songstress elegantly sported a pair of Jimmy Choo's "Metz" sandals in sleek black, featuring satin uppers and sharp square toes. These sandals boasted a sturdy, strap-intensive design that crisscrossed over the top of her feet and around her ankles, ensuring a secure fit.
The straps of the sandals were fastened with golden buckle closures and were complemented by heels measuring 3 to 4 inches in height, a standard choice for many heel aficionados.
In a nod to her "Reputation" era, the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer graced the event in a striking floor-length black gown from Versace. The dress was adorned with silver snap closures and featured an asymmetrical bodice with alluring, strappy detailing. Taylor Swift made a clean sweep at the MTV Video Music Awards and won the evening's top trophy, by scooping awards including Best Song, Best Pop and Best Direction, as well as the top competitive award for Video of the Year, which she won for her hit "Anti-Hero."
"This is unbelievable," Swift said on Tuesday as she accepted the night's top prize, which she also took home in 2022. "I just want to say that the fact that this is a fan-voted award means so much to me." The superstar took home nine of the 11 awards she was up for, including artist of the year in a category made up entirely of women nominees for the first time in VMA history.
