Minji, a member of the sensational K-pop group NewJeans, has captivated the spotlight as the cover star of Harper’s Bazaar Thailand Magazine’s November 2023 edition. The digital cover story, masterfully lensed by fashion photographer Ahn Jooyoung, showcases Minji’s versatile style and charisma. Stylist Choi Yumi curated the fashion looks, while the beauty team, comprising hair stylist Kyung Minjeong and makeup artist Lee Nagyeom, completed Minji's stunning appearance. Throughout the photoshoot, Minji dazzled in an array of outfits and fine jewelry from Chanel.

NewJeans, since their debut just a year ago, has already left an indelible mark on the K-pop scene, social media, and music charts. Their recent performance at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards is a testament to their rising stardom. They delivered an electrifying show, performing their viral hits “Super Shy” and “OMG.”

The performance artfully commenced with each member of NewJeans — Danielle, Haerin, Hyein, Hanni, and Minji — showcasing their individuality in stylish schoolgirl ensembles within separate booths. This solo segment, set to electronic music, seamlessly transitioned into a dynamic group performance featuring their hit “Super Shy,” complete with intricate choreography and a team of backup dancers.

The group then underwent a swift costume change for “OMG,” adopting a dreamy look with oversized snow boots, angel-themed sweaters, skirts, and printed beanies. The stage was set with a whimsical design featuring white grid walls and cloud-like figures. The performance of “OMG” included a funky remix and synchronized, feel-good dance moves, with the group taking moments to engage with their fans, affectionately known as Bunnies.

The evening was further highlighted when NewJeans received the top global K-pop artist award, a significant new category at the event, where they triumphed over other notable nominees like Stray Kids, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, TWICE, and Jimin of BTS.

In addition to their Billboard Music Awards appearance, NewJeans also made a memorable performance at the League of Legends Worlds 2023 opening ceremony, further solidifying their position as a global K-pop phenomenon.
