Gisele Bündchen Stars in Balmain's Spring 2024 Campaign
Discover Balmain Spring 2024 Collection with Gisele Bündchen as muse, a tribute to love and timeless elegance, skillfully captured by Rafael Pavarotti
Luxury fashion house Balmain introduces its Spring 2024 campaign, showcasing the timeless elegance of supermodel Gisele Bündchen through the lens of acclaimed fashion photographer Rafael Pavarotti. The campaign, styled by Charlotte Stockdale and Katie Lyall, features exquisite set design by Ibby Njoya, casting direction by Anita Bitton, and production by Ragi Dholakia Productions, with exclusive production by Now Open. Completing the ensemble are the masterful touches of hair stylist Sam McKnight and makeup artist Peter Philips.
A vibrant celebration of love and a tribute to timeless fashion icons, Balmain's latest collection unveils the JM Balmain Bag, inspired by the classic "Jolie Madame" silhouette, paying homage to Monsieur Balmain's pioneering postwar designs.
Designer Olivier Rousteing channels the essence of the rose – symbolizing joy, love, and beauty – as he revisits the "New French Style" initiated by Pierre Balmain. Drawing from the soft contours and meticulous tailoring of the 1940s and 1950s, Rousteing crafts a collection that embraces romance and femininity with boldness.
Rousteing's vision intertwines complexity and beauty, echoing the multifaceted nature of love itself. Thorns, symbolizing the challenges within love, manifest in various forms throughout the designs, adding depth to the collection's narrative.
Balmain's Spring 2024 collection merges romanticism with Rousteing's signature flair, featuring vibrant prints and the classic polka dot motif reminiscent of Pierre Balmain's iconic creations. The Parisian garden comes to life through a rich palette of colors, textures, and patterns, showcasing the atelier's craftsmanship and the house's historical archives.
Intricately crafted roses, thorns, and branches adorn meticulously tailored designs, pushing the boundaries of Balmain's renowned craftsmanship. Gisele Bündchen's presence epitomizes the collection's timeless allure, marking a new chapter in Balmain's legacy under Olivier Rousteing's creative direction.
