The dress, an epitome of grace and elegance, featured a delicate paisley pattern complemented by plush velvet straps, embracing the red trend that has dominated runways and red carpets alike. This hue has been a standout in recent fashion shows by Valentino, Carolina Herrera, and Emilia Wickstead for the fall 2023 season, heralding its resurgence in popularity. To complete her look, Fanning paired the Galliano dress with exquisite gold Gianvito Rossi heels and sparkling Anita Ko diamond jewelry, curated by stylist Samantha McMillen, who also works with stars like Kirsten Dunst and Brie Larson. Alissa Frum, her hairdresser, styled her blonde locks straight, while makeup artist Tyron Machhausen added the finishing touches with rosy blush and a muted cherry lip.

During her appearance, Fanning shared memorable moments from her 30th birthday celebration, describing it as one of the best nights of her life. She also opened up about cofounding Lewellen Pictures with her sister, Elle, in 2021. The Fanning sisters, both seasoned actors, aim to develop their own projects and have a more significant say in their creative journeys. Dakota expressed her deep bond with Elle, stating, "I would never do it with anyone else."

"Ripley," Fanning's latest venture, offered her an opportunity to travel across Italy, from Capri to Venice, Naples, and the Amalfi Coast, for its production. She described the experience as the trip of a lifetime. In this adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's 1955 novel "The Talented Mr. Ripley," Fanning steps into the shoes of Marge Sherwood, a role previously portrayed by Gwyneth Paltrow in the film version. Netflix is set to premiere the series on April 4, promising viewers a thrilling journey into Highsmith's captivating world.
