Celebrating a milestone ten years since their initial collaboration, Puma and Sophia Chang have unveiled their latest collection, a tribute to women’s basketball, inclusivity, and the unifying power of community. This collection sees illustrator and storyteller Sophia Chang infusing classic basketball gear with her unique artistic vision.

Drawing inspiration from the basketball court, Chang has reimagined classic silhouettes with collegiate details, her custom graphics, and a palette of soft pastels. The collection highlights include the Puma Suede and Puma Palermo sneakers, both adorned with Chang’s playful, hand-drawn visuals, lending a fresh and whimsical twist to these iconic styles.

Chang’s creative fingerprints are evident throughout the capsule, with her charming illustrations enhancing pieces like the Basketball Jersey and Knit Bucket Hat. The collection also features Wide Leg Pants and a Cross Body Bag, each showcasing a montage of Chang’s artwork. A standout item is the Reversible Bomber, which combines letterman-inspired aesthetics with a liner showcasing Chang’s iconic drawings.

The collection’s use of suede in "Zen Blue" extends Chang’s artistic narrative, decorating the sneakers’ uppers and tongues, while the "Grape Mist" Palermo sneaker incorporates her illustrations within the Puma formstrip, further blending art with fashion.

Highlighting the collaborative spirit, the campaign features Chang’s local creative allies, designer Bethany Brill and creative director/photographer Bukunmi, both adorned in the new collection.
