Rosé, the 27-year-old global icon and member of BLACKPINK, graces the cover of GQ Korea’s February 2025 issue, photographed by Kim Hee June. Styled by Yun Ae Ri, with fashion direction by Park Na Na and Shin Ki Ho, and set design by Kwon Do Hyung, the shoot captures Rosé in elegant pieces from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. Beauty contributions come from hair stylist Lee Seon Yeong, makeup artist Won Jung Yo at Bit & Boot, and manicurist Park Eun Kyung.

Music and Fashion: A Creative Synergy

In the cover story, Rosé reflects on her artistic journey, highlighting the interplay between music and fashion. “Every performance, every outfit, it is all a part of telling my story,” she shares, emphasizing how her stage presence and personal style work together to convey her vision.

The interview also touches on her navigation of international fame, where she credits her resilience to the unwavering support of friends and fans.

Chart-Topping Success with “Apt.”

Rosé’s duet with Bruno Mars, “Apt.,” continues to dominate global charts. In the U.K., the song reclaimed its No. 1 spot on the Official Singles Downloads Chart for the fourth non-consecutive week and remains a top contender on the Official Streaming and Singles Sales charts, reaching No. 2. The song’s physical sales have also surged, climbing from No. 58 to No. 26 on the Official Physical Singles Chart.

In the U.S., “Apt.” made history as Rosé became the first solo K-pop artist to enter Billboard’s Radio Songs top 10. This achievement surpasses Psy’s record with “Gangnam Style,” which peaked at No. 12, cementing her place as a trailblazer for K-pop soloists in the American market.

Reflections on 2024 and a Bright Future Ahead

Reflecting on 2024, Rosé recently shared her gratitude on Instagram, calling the year both challenging and rewarding. She celebrated the release of her debut album, rosie, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and expressed appreciation for the lessons learned and friendships formed.

“Off to 2025 now! Bring it on,” she wrote, signaling a year filled with exciting new projects and opportunities for her ever-growing fanbase.

With her continued success in both music and fashion, Rosé’s star is shining brighter than ever, making her a global force to be reckoned with.
