Authorities confirmed there were no signs of foul play and are treating the case as a suicide.

Kim Sae-ron, who began her acting career at just 9 years old, gained widespread recognition for her roles in the 2010 action film The Man from Nowhere and the 2012 thriller The Neighbor. However, her career faced a significant setback in May 2022 when she was involved in a drunk driving incident, crashing her car into a roadside electrical transformer box. The incident led to public backlash, a $20 million won fine, and her withdrawal from the drama series Trolley.
