Megyn Kelly Urges Taylor Swift to Address Blake Lively's Harassment Case
Megyn Kelly urges Taylor Swift to comment on Blake Lively's harassment lawsuit, questioning Lively's inclusion in TIME100 amid ongoing legal disputes.
At the TIME100 Gala in New York City, Megyn Kelly criticized fellow honoree Blake Lively's inclusion on the list, citing Lively's ongoing legal battle with "It Ends With Us" co-star Justin Baldoni. Kelly labeled Lively's presence as a "ridiculous joke" and accused her of making false #MeToo allegations. She also called on Taylor Swift to address the situation, suggesting that Swift is distancing herself from Lively.
Lively, who attended the gala with husband Ryan Reynolds, delivered a speech highlighting women's resilience and subtly referenced her legal dispute with Baldoni. She praised her mother for surviving a life-threatening attack and emphasized the importance of using one's voice responsibly.
The legal conflict began in December 2024 when Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment and retaliation. Baldoni countersued, alleging defamation and civil extortion. The trial is scheduled for March 2026. Reports suggest that Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman may be subpoenaed due to their close relationships with Lively and Reynolds.
