Angelina Jolie Shines in Sequined Cashmere Gown at Cannes 2025 Premiere
Angelina Jolie stuns in a sequined cashmere gown by Brunello Cucinelli at Cannes 2025, marking her elegant return to the red carpet.
Angelina Jolie returned to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet on Friday, delivering a breathtaking moment in a custom Brunello Cucinelli gown at the premiere of Eddington. The film stars Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Pedro Pascal, and Joaquin Phoenix, but Jolie easily stole the spotlight.
At 49, the actress wore a strapless gown made of pure cashmere and silk, hand-embroidered and covered in shimmering sequins. The luxury Italian brand is known for its sky-high craftsmanship, and this one-of-a-kind piece fit Jolie like a glove.
She completed the look with sparkling Chopard diamonds, including a pear-shaped necklace and matching earrings. On the red carpet, she posed with actors Marie Colomb and Finn Bennett, as well as Chopard co-president Caroline Scheufele.
Jolie also appeared in her role as godmother of the 2025 Trophée Chopard Award, offering mentorship to rising talent throughout the year—a role previously held by the likes of Demi Moore and Julianne Moore.
It’s her first Cannes appearance since 2011, and it’s clear: Jolie hasn’t missed a beat.
