Miley Cyrus Brings ’80s Rock Glam to Chanel x Tribeca Luncheon
Miley Cyrus rocks an ’80s-inspired Chanel look with leather pleats and Mary Janes at the Tribeca Film Festival’s annual luncheon in New York City.
Miley Cyrus channeled vintage rock energy at Chanel’s annual luncheon with the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC, showing up in full '80s-inspired glam.
Celebrating the Through Her Lens program, Miley joined a lineup of powerful women in film and music, including Riley Keough, Parker Posey, Lola Tung, and Olivia Munn. The singer—fresh off the release of her new album Something Beautiful—embraced a refined rocker look that turned heads.
She wore a black, four-pocket vest paired with a two-tier pleated leather skirt, sheer nylons, and classic Mary Jane heels. Black sunglasses and her signature side-parted, tousled curls completed the look, giving off an Elvis-meets-L.A.-rock-scene vibe. The hairstyle, courtesy of longtime stylist Bob Recine, was all attitude with a single curl dipping toward her forehead.
Under the shades: soft bronze eyeshadow, fluttery lashes, white liner, and glossy pink lips by makeup artist James Kaliardos. It was a more restrained look than Miley’s usual red carpet moments—but every bit as bold in spirit.
