Christina Aguilera Rewears Her Iconic 2003 Versace Dress with Gothic Edge
Christina Aguilera rewore her 2003 Versace lingerie dress with gothic glam for the Burlesque London premiere.
Christina Aguilera just brought back one of her most iconic looks. On Monday, the “Dirrty” singer arrived in London for the West End premiere of Burlesque: The Musical, based on her 2010 film with Cher.
For the event, Aguilera rewore her green lingerie-inspired Versace dress from the brand’s Fall 2003 collection. She originally modeled the look in Versace’s campaign that year, posing bare-faced for Steven Meisel.
This time, she gave the dress a gothic twist with black lipstick, knee-high black leather boots, and her signature platinum blonde hair.
Aguilera isn’t the only star drawn to this design. Beyoncé wore it to the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, and more recently, Iris Apatow and Devon Lee Carlson have revived the lace-up frock for their own standout moments.
