Jennie Embraces ’90s Style in Chanel’s Fall 2025 Campaign

Jennie, Chanel’s global ambassador, stars in the brand’s Fall-Winter 2025/26 pre-collection campaign set in the gardens of Paris’s Palais-Royal. Shot by Craig McDean, the campaign captures Jennie just steps away from the Ritz and Rue Cambon, places central to Chanel’s history.

The garden, once a refuge for Gabrielle Chanel and friends like Colette and Jean Cocteau, frames Jennie in looks that balance poise with ease. The collection draws on the masculine-feminine mix seen in 1990s rom-com heroines.

“I’ve always loved the ’90s, not just the fashion but the mood,” Jennie says. “Women felt strong and vulnerable at the same time. Romantic yet preppy.”

She models wide-shouldered wool-and-cashmere tweed coats over tanks and jeans, a black leather coat with gold buttons, and a double crêpe corset cut like a men’s waistcoat with beaded straps. Each piece is softened with accessories like pastel quilted heart-shaped bags, berets, and the CHANEL 25 bag.

“Masculine-feminine style makes me feel grounded and empowered,” Jennie adds. “You don’t have to choose one or the other.”

In indoor shots, she wears a wool tweed miniskirt suit and lounges in cashmere trimmed with sky-blue flounces. Beneath the Palais-Royal walkways, she moves in supple beige leather for an easy yet authoritative look.

Chanel’s Fall-Winter pre-collection is now available in boutiques, merging heritage with modern confidence.
