Sydney Sweeney is reportedly launching her own lingerie line soon, with financial backing from Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. According to Us Weekly, the “Euphoria” star has been working on the brand for the past year.

“This has been a huge project for her,” a source shared, adding that Bezos is involved through Coatue, a private equity firm where his investment partner Ben Schwerin is backing the venture. Recently, Coatue received a $1 billion boost from Bezos and Michael Dell via their Coatue Innovation Fund.

Sweeney already has design experience from her 2023 swimwear collaboration with Frankies Bikinis, where she created pieces inspired by Italian summer romance. Speaking about that project, she told Elle, “It’s powerful to show the world you are unapologetically yourself.”

The actress recently attended the wedding of Bezos and Sánchez in Venice, sparking curiosity about her connection to the couple. While some speculated it was due to her public profile, sources clarified that Sweeney was invited because she’s starring in an upcoming Amazon MGM Studios movie. She attended to “pay respects to the boss,” as one insider put it.
