Anne Hathaway Spotted Filming Devil Wears Prada 2 with New Love Interest Patrick Brammall
Anne Hathaway is seen filming Devil Wears Prada 2 in NYC with new love interest Patrick Brammall, as the sequel gears up for a May 2026 release.
Anne Hathaway is back as Andy Sachs — and this time, there’s a new man in her life.
On August 5, the actress was spotted on set in Brooklyn filming The Devil Wears Prada 2 alongside her new on-screen love interest, Patrick Brammall. The pair looked deep in character, holding hands and laughing while strolling through the city.
Hathaway, 42, wore a glossy blue dress with matching eyeshadow and soft waves parted down the middle. Brammall, 49, looked sharp in a tailored navy suit with a light blue shirt as he twirled Hathaway playfully during one shot.
Brammall, known for Colin From Accounts and Glitch, joins the sequel as Andy’s new partner, replacing Adrian Grenier’s Nate, who fans widely criticized for being unsupportive in the original 2006 film.
In a 2021 interview, Grenier admitted he was surprised when his character was labeled the real villain. “In many ways, he’s selfish and self-involved,” he said.
Returning alongside Hathaway are original cast members Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. The sequel will follow Miranda Priestly (Streep) as she navigates the downfall of print publishing while clashing with Blunt’s now-powerful executive character in a battle over luxury advertising.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set to premiere May 1, 2026.
