BTS’ V Makes Stunning Return with First Magazine Cover Post-Military

V of BTS is officially back — and he’s making his return unforgettable.

On August 5th KST, W Korea announced that V will grace the cover of its upcoming September issue, marking his first magazine cover shoot since being discharged from military service. A teaser video released on social media has already racked up over 15 million views in just 17 hours, sparking a frenzy among fans.

The cinematic clip highlights V’s signature visuals — his mismatched eyes, iconic beauty mark, and sharp gaze that shifts subtly with every angle. Styled in Celine’s Spring 2026 collection, he delivers a performance that blends strength with vulnerability, and masculinity with delicate grace.

Shot while he was in Paris for the Celine fashion show this past July, the editorial is also the debut of Michael Rider’s first collection for the brand, following Hedi Slimane’s exit.

Close-up shots reveal V’s glamorous nail art, a scratch through his eyebrow, and his strikingly symmetrical features. The visual narrative is haunting and beautiful — a masterclass in editorial storytelling.

V hinted at this return back in July, posting an Instagram Story with the captions “I take care of myself now” and “Just watch,” along with a self-care photo. He’s clearly kept that promise.
