Dakota Johnson Stuns in Sheer Black Gucci Lace Gown at Caring for Women Dinner
Dakota Johnson wowed in a sheer black Gucci lace gown over lingerie at the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women dinner in NYC.
Dakota Johnson once again proved she’s the queen of sheer elegance at the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner in New York City on September 11. The Materialists actress arrived in a jaw-dropping black lace gown by Gucci, styled to perfection by Kate Young.
The gown, crafted from sheer black tulle, featured Gucci’s delicate Flora embellishments, a high turtleneck, long sleeves, and a flowing train. Beneath the see-through fabric, Dakota wore only the Top Stitch Convertible Bra and Luxe Cheeky Panty by Fleur du Mal, making the lingerie part of the overall look.
Adding sophistication, she accessorized with a Gucci Bamboo Night handbag and black bamboo heel sandals. Her beauty look echoed the drama of the dress: a smoky black eye, an autumnal deep red manicure, and a chic updo with her signature fringe. Diamond and emerald hoop earrings by Jessica McCormack added just the right amount of sparkle.
This may be Johnson’s most daring sheer look to date, but it’s hardly her first. From the sheer crystal mesh gown at the Madame Web premiere to her silver see-through Cannes gown earlier this year, Dakota continues to push boundaries with her red-carpet style.
At the Caring for Women Dinner, the star didn’t just wear Gucci—she embodied its bold, sensual spirit, cementing her place as one of fashion’s most fearless risk-takers.
