Mugler Makes Its Makeup Comeback with Bold L’Oréal Edit
Mugler revives its makeup legacy with L’Oréal: from hyaluronic lipsticks to cushion foundation, plus Kendall Jenner channels archive fashion.
After a 15-year pause, Mugler is reentering the makeup world—this time as a collaboration with L’Oréal Paris. The limited-edition collection marks a major beauty comeback, bridging Mugler’s daring fashion legacy with L’Oréal’s mass-market beauty muscle.
The range includes everything from cushion foundation (available in 10 inclusive shades) and mascaras to lipsticks, eyeliners, eyeshadow palettes, and glow-enhancing radiance sticks. Notable innovations include a skincare-inspired lipstick with hyaluronic acid and a user-friendly cushion compact format, echoing the popular beauty tech aesthetic in Asia.
This launch also serves as cultural theater: guided by shared themes of transformation and empowerment, the campaign is fronted by Kendall Jenner, who dons archival Mugler designs in campaign visuals, creating a stylistic echo of Mugler’s bold identity. It’s a strategic bridge between couture fashion DNA and accessible makeup luxury.
