Prada Reinvents Jewelry with Gemstone Poetry in Couleur Vivante
Prada unveils Couleur Vivante, a fine jewelry collection blending bold colors, iconic design, and radical authenticity.
Prada’s Couleur Vivante collection marks a bold new chapter in fine jewelry—a chromatic manifesto by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons that elevates gemstone pairing to an art form.
Each piece shines through its unique spectrum of amethyst, aquamarine, citrine, pink morganite, and oro-verde peridot—stones historically deemed ‘semi-precious’ but reborn here with a daring éclat. Rings, drop earrings, rivère necklaces, and line bracelets maintain classic forms, yet the unexpected color oppositions—like aquamarine paired with peridot or morganite with citrine—subvert tradition and feel entirely modern.
The campaign, shot by David Sims, features Maya Hawke, Kim Tae-Ri, and Amanda Gorman in arresting monochrome portraits layered with translucent color washes—turning their faces into living canvases for jewelry that ‘floats’ in new light.
More than adornment, these pieces deliver narrative: each item is traceable—from rough stone to cut gem—through blockchain-certified authenticity and gemological labs, marrying Prada’s boundary-pushing luxury with radical transparency.
