UGG x AMBUSH Reinvent the Classic Boot With a $650 Sheepskin Heel

UGG is getting a high-fashion makeover. In its latest collaboration with Yoon Ahn’s AMBUSH, the footwear giant has unveiled a capsule that takes its comfort-first identity into daring, architectural territory.

At the center of the collection is the UGG AMBUSH Heel, a dramatic $650 sheepskin-wrapped high heel that fuses luxury with streetwear edge. The design playfully reinvents the brand’s most recognizable shape, giving it a sculptural, Y2K-inspired twist.

The capsule also features two standout boot styles: the UGG AMBUSH Woven Boot and a bold rework of the classic UGG Boot, both finished in full-grain leather, nubuck, and sheepskin. Rendered in earthy tones like natural, chestnut, and deep brown, the lineup has a grounded palette that contrasts with its exaggerated silhouettes.

For Ahn, the designs are personal. “The boots and shoes I often saw when I first moved to Shibuya have always stuck with me, so this is my love letter to the neighborhood,” the designer shared. That sense of nostalgia, paired with Tokyo’s iconic street style, fuels the capsule’s playful yet elevated mood.

Campaign images starring Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba, shot in a retro bowling alley, add to the collection’s cool, wearable edge—suggesting these are not just fashion statements, but street-ready collector’s items.

Dropping September 12 with limited distribution, the collection underscores UGG’s commitment to redefining its place in the fashion landscape—one bold collaboration at a time.
