Megan Moroney Delivers a High-Drama Red Carpet Moment at the 2025 CMAs
Megan Moroney shuts down the 2025 CMA Awards red carpet in a crystal-covered satin gown with a dramatic cape and glamorous styling.
Megan Moroney is no stranger to a headline-making fashion moment, and she proved it again at the 2025 CMA Awards in Nashville. The rising country powerhouse arrived at Bridgestone Arena in a look that blended glamour, edge, and a whole lot of sparkle.
Moroney stepped onto the carpet in a floor-length black satin gown designed with a structured corseted bodice that framed her waist and a sleek column skirt that created an elegant vertical line. The dress was covered in carefully placed crystals that caught the lights from every angle, giving the entire look a shimmering, stage-ready finish. A daring high slit added movement and a subtle touch of drama.
But the true showstopper was the massive black cape draped over her shoulders. The cape pooled behind her like a shadowy train, turning her entrance into a full cinematic moment. She later slipped out of it to pose with Kenny Chesney, celebrating their nominated collaboration “You Had to Be There.”
Moroney pushed the drama even further with black opera gloves, each styled with a silver bracelet and a ring worn over the top for a polished yet rebellious touch. Her signature blonde waves were styled in big, bouncy curls, and her makeup was soft but striking, with winged liner and a deep pink lip adding color without stealing attention from the gown.
With six nominations this year, including Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year, Moroney arrived ready to own the night. Her red carpet look did exactly that.
