Mariah Carey Shines in $15 Million Diamonds at Winter Olympics 2026
Mariah Carey performs at the Winter Olympics 2026 opening ceremony wearing over 300 carats of Levuma diamonds valued at $15 million.
Mariah Carey knows exactly how to make an entrance, and the Winter Olympics 2026 opening ceremony was no exception. Performing live at Milan’s San Siro Stadium, the singer turned the global spotlight into her personal stage, delivering both vocals and visuals in full Mariah fashion.
For the ceremony, Carey performed the Italian classic “Volare” alongside her own anthem “Nothing Is Impossible,” all while wrapped in diamonds valued at an estimated $15 million. Because if anyone can make that feel casual, it’s her.
The jewelry came courtesy of Levuma and featured more than 300 carats of emerald cut diamonds set in platinum. Carey wore a double strand diamond necklace anchored by a dramatic 20 carat pendant, bringing the necklace’s total weight to an astonishing 185 carats. The piece sat high and clean against her neckline, catching the stadium lights with every movement.
She paired the necklace with a substantial 55 carat diamond bracelet and matching diamond drop earrings weighing in at 66 carats. The cuts were sharp and classic, keeping the look elegant rather than flashy. It was sparkle, yes, but controlled and intentional.
The diamonds did not overpower the performance. Instead, they moved with her, glinting as she sang and reminding everyone why she’s long been associated with high glam moments. The styling leaned timeless, letting the jewelry speak without distraction.
Levuma founder and creative director Ali Khalil described the moment as deeply meaningful, calling Carey’s appearance a reflection of the brand’s focus on emotion, purity of design, and craftsmanship. The pairing made sense. Mariah has always favored statement pieces that feel personal rather than trendy.
This was not her first time wearing Levuma. Carey previously stepped out in the brand’s diamonds at the 2025 VMAs, where she received the Video Vanguard Award. That night, she wore the Rosée Éternelle diamond necklace and chandelier earrings totaling over 200 carats and valued at $10 million.
At the Winter Olympics opening ceremony, Carey once again proved that no matter the stage, she brings the same energy. Big voice, big presence, and diamonds that sparkle just as hard.
