Sydney Sweeney Doubles Down on the Peekaboo Lingerie Trend for Her Latest Syrn Drop
Sydney Sweeney debuts darker hair and layered peekaboo lingerie while launching her latest Syrn “Comfy” collection.
Sydney Sweeney is proving that lingerie doesn’t have to scream to make a statement.
While announcing the release of her fourth Syrn collection, the Anyone But You actress leaned into the peekaboo lingerie trend — but in a way that felt more girl-next-door than overtly dramatic. The new “Comfy” drop, launched February 26, is built around cotton basics, and Sweeney found a surprisingly cool way to elevate them.
In promo images shot by photographer Jess Wasson, she layered a white plunging cotton bra beneath a black version of the same style, creating a subtle, double-take effect. Instead of looking chaotic, the stacked bras felt intentional — like styling, not a wardrobe malfunction. She echoed the idea below the waist, pulling high-waisted black briefs slightly off one hip to reveal a white pair underneath.
It’s a risky trend. Exposed underwear can go early-2000s tabloid fast. But here? It feels controlled and modern.
Beauty-wise, Sweeney switched things up in a major way. Gone is the platinum blonde bob she’s been favoring. In its place: her darkest hair color in months — a deeper brunette at the roots with soft bronde highlights framing her face. The darker tone adds contrast against the minimal cotton sets and gives the whole campaign a slightly moodier edge.
Her makeup stayed fresh and natural — visible freckles, soft liner, peach-toned cheeks. Nothing overworked. It fits the “Comfy” theme.
In additional shots, she modeled seamless tanks and underwear sets in nude, white, and black — proof that basics don’t have to be boring.
Honestly? What makes this campaign work is the restraint. It’s sexy, yes — but approachable. And that balance is harder to pull off than it looks.
