Burberry’s High Summer 2026 Campaign Brings Lido Style Back in the Coolest Way
Burberry’s High Summer 2026 campaign blends lido nostalgia, bold swimwear, and effortless style with Simone Ashley and Tom Blyth.
Burberry just dropped its High Summer 2026 campaign, and it feels like stepping straight into a perfect British summer day.
Shot by Ryan McGinley, the campaign leans into that familiar rush when the sun finally shows up and everyone heads straight for the nearest lido. It’s relaxed, a little nostalgic, and full of energy. You can almost hear the water splashing.
The cast brings that mood to life. Simone Ashley and Tom Blyth lead the campaign alongside Alva Claire and Babacar N’Doye, joined by swimmers and divers who move through the scenes like it’s a real summer afternoon, not a staged shoot.
The wardrobe keeps things simple but sharp. The Burberry check shows up in all the right places, especially on bikinis and men’s swim shorts, giving those pieces a familiar edge without feeling repetitive.
Simone Ashley’s looks stand out straight away. She moves between a check bikini and lightweight layers that feel easy to throw on after a swim. Think soft cotton voile shirts, barely-there skirts, and pieces that catch the light instead of weighing the look down.
Tom Blyth’s styling leans more relaxed. Tailored swim shorts with subtle check trims are paired with open shirts and casual layers. It’s polished, but not overthought.
Accessories quietly do a lot of the work here. Raffia bags, handmade in Madagascar, add texture and a slightly raw feel that balances the clean lines of the clothing. Crocheted bucket hats and wraparound sunglasses finish the look without trying too hard.
Even the small moments in the campaign feel intentional. One scene shows a model stepping out of a shower fully dressed, a playful nod to Colin Firth’s iconic moment in Pride and Prejudice. It’s subtle, but it adds personality.
Creative director Daniel Lee keeps the focus on something simple: enjoying the moment. The campaign doesn’t try to over-explain itself. It just shows friends by the water, soaking up the sun, wearing clothes that feel right for it.
That’s what makes it work. It’s not just about the outfits, even though they’re strong. It’s about the feeling behind them.
Burberry isn’t chasing trends here. It’s tapping into something familiar and making it feel fresh again. And honestly, it makes you want to be there.
