Debute Launches Its First Swimwear Drop for SS26
Debute’s SS26 Between Tides collection marks its swimwear debut with gingham, lace, leopard print and nostalgic summer styling.
Debute is stepping into summer with a soft nostalgic mood, and this time, the London-based label is making its first move into swimwear. The brand’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, titled “Between Tides,” introduces beach-ready pieces alongside relaxed dresses and separates made for long, easy days with friends. The campaign was shot by Kaj Jefferies and stars models Anna Goryainova and Carla Molina.
The collection leans into memories of childhood summers, but it does not feel overly sweet. Debute balances pretty details with a sharper attitude, mixing gingham prints, broderie anglaise, dainty bows, ribbons and lace with bold leopard print. That contrast is what gives the drop its personality. One moment it feels girlish and beachy, the next it has a little bite.
For daytime dressing, pieces like the Stevie Set and Jazzy dress bring an easy holiday feel, while the Ursula bikinis mark the brand’s official swimwear debut. The bikinis are styled in a way that feels casual rather than overly polished, making them work with airy cover-ups, loose skirts or even layered under dresses. The Alexa and Misha dresses bring the collection into evening, offering something lighter and more dressed-up after the beach.
A fresh version of the brand’s popular Tallulah dress also appears in the lineup, this time updated with cutaway lace details. It gives the piece a handmade, sentimental feel while still keeping the silhouette current. Debute also keeps mindful production in focus, with the Jean Leopard and Lola Leopard garments made using regenerated fibers.
The campaign itself is sun-soaked and relaxed, capturing that in-between summer feeling where clothes are passed around, reworn and styled differently by each person. The collection is available through Debute’s website, with the Tallulah dress arriving later in July. London shoppers can also see the pieces at the brand’s Portobello Road pop-up from June 25 to 27.
