Lili Reinhart Wore Valentino by Alessandro Michele to the Gotham TV Awards
Lili Reinhart wore Valentino by Alessandro Michele at the 2026 Gotham Television Awards in New York City.
Lili Reinhart brought a soft, romantic kind of glamour to the 3rd Annual Gotham Television Awards, held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on June 1, 2026. The event celebrated standout television work from the past year, with Lili among the nominees for Hal & Harper.
The actress, best known for playing Betty Cooper on Riverdale, chose Valentino by Alessandro Michele for the night, and the look had that slightly vintage, delicate mood Michele does so well. Instead of going for a sharp red carpet silhouette, Lili wore a pale champagne-toned beaded gown with a soft V neckline, thin straps, and a straight, easy fall through the body.
The dress was covered in tiny shimmering embellishments, giving it a liquid sparkle under the lights. Around the bodice, darker beadwork created an Art Deco-style burst effect, adding shape and drama without making the gown feel heavy. A sheer panel at the neckline softened the finish, while the black cape-like backing added contrast and gave the look a more mysterious edge from the side and back.
Her styling stayed very clean. Lili wore her blonde hair loose, long, and center-parted, with a smooth, natural finish that framed her face without competing with the beadwork. Her makeup was also understated, with softly defined eyes, fresh skin, and a muted pink lip. Diamond earrings added just enough shine. She completed the Valentino look with Valentino Rockstud Kidskin Sandals, adding the label’s signature studded edge to the otherwise soft, romantic gown.
It’s a quieter look than some of her past red carpet moments, but that is what makes it work. The gown feels elegant, slightly old-world, and very much in line with Valentino’s current romantic direction under Alessandro Michele.
