Cardi B Wore Rahul Mishra Fall 2026 Haute Couture to Paris Fashion Week
Cardi B turned heads in Rahul Mishra Fall 2026 Haute Couture inspired by the Didarganj Yakshi during Paris Fashion Week.
Cardi B once again proved she's one of fashion's biggest risk-takers as she arrived at Paris Fashion Week in a breathtaking custom look from Rahul Mishra Haute Couture, based on the designer's Fall 2026 Couture collection. Styled by longtime collaborator Kollin Carter, the Grammy-winning rapper delivered one of the most memorable couture moments of the season, blending high fashion with centuries of artistic inspiration.
Known for chart-topping hits like Bodak Yellow, WAP, and Up, Cardi has become just as famous for her fearless red carpet style as her music. This latest appearance only reinforced her reputation for embracing bold, conversation-starting fashion.
Her ivory couture gown was inspired by the Didarganj Yakshi, one of India's most celebrated ancient stone sculptures and a treasured national artifact. Rahul Mishra translated that historic reference into an extraordinary couture design filled with handcrafted embellishments and sculptural details. The fitted bodice featured intricate embroidery that traced the neckline and torso, creating the illusion of layered ceremonial necklaces. Draped shoulder strands framed her arms beautifully, while the dramatic sculptural cummerbund added striking dimension around the waist before flowing into an elegantly draped floor-length skirt with intricate embroidered panels.
Cardi completed the artistic look with an ornate maang tikka placed at the center of her sleek middle-part hairstyle, paying homage to traditional Indian jewelry. Her long black hair was styled into braided sections that flowed down her back, enhancing the regal mood of the ensemble. Sparkling drop earrings echoed the intricate embroidery of the gown, while soft rosy makeup, sculpted brows, winged eyeliner, fluttery lashes, and glossy nude lips kept the focus on the couture craftsmanship. She finished the look with pointed ivory heels that subtly peeked out beneath the hem.
Rahul Mishra's couture collections are celebrated for combining Indian craftsmanship with contemporary silhouettes, and Cardi B wore the intricate creation with confidence and ease. Rather than relying on dramatic accessories, every detail of the outfit—from the embroidered neckline to the sculptural waist and historical inspiration—worked together to tell a story.
