Chantelle Celebrates 150 Years With Two Limited-Edition Lingerie Sets
Chantelle celebrates 150 years with two limited-edition lingerie sets, blending French heritage, intricate embroidery and modern everyday comfort.
Chantelle is turning 150, and the French lingerie house is celebrating the milestone exactly where its story began: with beautifully made lingerie. Founded in 1876, the family-owned label is marking its anniversary throughout 2026 with a look back at its archives while keeping its focus firmly on modern women and contemporary design.
The anniversary celebration comes with two special lingerie directions, bringing together the polished glamour of Parisian lingerie and the easy comfort that has become just as important to today's wardrobes.
Leading the more dressed-up side is the Champs Élysées Balconette Bra, a romantic black style decorated with intricate embroidery. The Champs Élysées line is one of Chantelle's signature collections, known for Italian embroidery inspired by the world of fine jewelry. The delicate detailing gives the bra a distinctly luxurious feel, while coordinating pieces allow the look to extend beyond the bra itself.
Then there is the SOFTSTRETCH Anniversary Set, which takes Chantelle's famously comfortable stretch concept in a more celebratory direction. The midnight-toned set features a bralette and briefs finished with a repeating Chantelle monogram, giving an everyday silhouette a subtle designer touch.
The timing feels particularly fitting for a house with such a long lingerie history. Chantelle describes its 150-year journey through ideas of freedom, beauty, intimacy and confidence, while its anniversary storytelling looks across different generations of women and changing ideas of femininity.
The milestone has already been celebrated beyond the collections, including an intimate anniversary dinner at London's historic Richoux in July. Guests from fashion, media, entertainment and sport were given a presentation tracing Chantelle's heritage before getting an early look at the limited-edition anniversary lingerie.
Rather than simply looking backward, Chantelle's 150th anniversary feels like a continuation of its story. The new pieces pair archival-inspired glamour with the comfort and practicality expected from modern lingerie, proving that after a century and a half, the French label still knows how to make lingerie feel special.
