Madelyn Cline Wore a Burgundy Polka-Dot Stella McCartney Look for the Today Show
Madelyn Cline wore a burgundy Stella McCartney polka-dot top and midi skirt with nude heels while arriving for the Today show in New York.
Madelyn Cline brought a polished dose of retro glamour to New York on August 19, arriving for an appearance on NBC's Today in a head-turning Stella McCartney look.
The actress and model, best known for playing Sarah Cameron on Netflix's Outer Banks, has become a regular on the fashion circuit as her career continues to grow. She has also appeared in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and I Know What You Did Last Summer, while her fashion résumé includes campaigns for Stella McCartney and other major labels.
For the morning television appearance, Cline wore Stella McCartney's Polka-Dot Mesh Elbow-Sleeve Top and matching Gathered Polka-Dot Mesh Midi Skirt. Together, the pieces created the impression of a sleek burgundy midi dress, with the tiny pink-toned dot pattern giving the otherwise deep color a playful lift.
The semi-sheer mesh top featured a wide rounded neckline and elbow-length sleeves, keeping the look feminine without feeling overly formal. Gathering through the waist and stomach created subtle draping and helped define Cline's silhouette. The matching midi skirt continued the fitted shape before falling to mid-calf.
She kept the accessories understated, allowing the busy print to remain the focus. Cline finished the outfit with delicate nude strappy heels, a slim bracelet and minimal jewelry.
Her beauty look was equally effortless. The actress wore her honey-brown hair in a center part with soft, bouncy waves, framing her face and adding a relaxed finish to the structured outfit. Warm-toned makeup, defined eyes, glowing skin and a glossy neutral lip completed the look.
The timing of the appearance was fitting, too. Cline joined Outer Banks castmates Madison Bailey and Carlacia Grant on Today as the fifth and final season of the Netflix series approached its August 20 release.
Cline's long relationship with Stella McCartney also makes the pairing feel natural. She previously starred in the designer's Spring/Summer 2023 campaign and wore custom Stella McCartney at the 2023 Met Gala.
