Michelle Pfeiffer Wore Raspberry Fforme Velvet on The Tonight Show
Michelle Pfeiffer stuns in a raspberry Fforme velvet top and skirt with Jimmy Choo pumps and Neil Lane earrings on The Tonight Show.
Michelle Pfeiffer brought a rich dose of fall color to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, stepping out in a head-to-toe raspberry velvet look for her August 20 appearance in New York City. The 68-year-old Oscar-nominated actress kept things polished but relaxed, choosing a coordinated Fforme top and skirt from the label’s Resort 2027 collection.
Pfeiffer’s outfit centered on the luxurious texture of velvet. The Fforme Lola top featured a rounded neckline, relaxed shape and voluminous elbow-length sleeves that gave the otherwise simple silhouette some drama. The matching Cori skirt followed the same deep raspberry shade, falling into a fluid A-line midi shape that moved softly around her legs.
The monochromatic styling made the vibrant color the real star. It is also a particularly timely choice, with saturated shades continuing to make a strong appearance in fall fashion. On Pfeiffer, the berry-toned velvet felt glamorous without looking overly formal.
She finished the look with Jimmy Choo Ixia pumps, keeping the footwear within the same dark berry family. For jewelry, she wore statement earrings by Neil Lane, which added a subtle hit of sparkle around her face. The styling was put together by Samantha McMillen, while Richard Marin handled her hair and Valli O’Reilly was responsible for makeup.
Pfeiffer wore her blonde hair down in loose, softly brushed waves with a center part. Her makeup stayed understated, with softly defined eyes and a glossy neutral lip that allowed the dramatic velvet to remain the focus.
The appearance also comes at an exciting point in Pfeiffer’s career. The actress, known for films including Scarface, Batman Returns, The Age of Innocence and Hairspray, recently earned a 2026 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Shyanne Millet in Apple TV’s Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
During her Tonight Show appearance, Pfeiffer also addressed recent speculation about retiring from acting, making it clear that she has no plans to step away.
At 68, Pfeiffer’s latest appearance is a stylish reminder that bold color and sumptuous texture can work beautifully at any age.
