Cardi B Stuns in Vintage Versace SS18 Dress at Vogue World Milano Runway

Cardi B brought major fashion energy to Vogue World: Milano, the traveling runway event Anna Wintour first launched back in 2022. The rapper, known just as much for her chart-topping hits like "Bodak Yellow" and "WAP" as she is for her fearless red carpet choices, closed out this leg of the show in Milan's stunning Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II on September 22.
For the occasion, Cardi wore an archival Versace piece from the label's Spring/Summer 2018 collection, a halter-neck column gown wrapped in a busy collage print of vintage Vogue magazine covers layered with checkerboard patterns and pops of neon green, cobalt blue, and hot pink. The dress hugged her curves down to a slim column skirt, with a cutout at the chest and a high halter strap in bright blue that tied around the neck. Fringed shoulder detailing in shades of pink and orange added texture at the top of the look.
She wore her hair in a huge, voluminous curly style with soft face-framing pieces, paired with a bold purple smoky eye and glossy nude lip that gave the whole look a glam, retro edge. She finished things off with metallic strappy heels for the walk.
The show itself was the fifth edition of Vogue World, and its first stop in Italy after previous stops in New York, London, Paris, and Los Angeles. This year's theme, "Where The Future Is Made By The Hand," explored the connection between traditional Italian craftsmanship and artificial intelligence, with the event also serving as a fundraiser for Milan's Quarto Oggiaro Library.
